A stunning piece of amber from the late Cretaceous of Myanmar, featuring a rare Silverfish (Order Zygentoma Family Lepismatidae) in remarkable condition. All segments and tails are articulated and detailed, measuring a colossal 13 mm, far larger than the typical 1-2 mm size of burmite insects. The amber itself is a dirty citrine color with excellent clarity, measuring 17.98 x 11.42 x 4.19 millimeters and weighing 0.595 grams. It comes elegantly presented in a floating frame with a stand, enlarged pictures of the inclusion, and detailed information for easy transport and display.
